Every Mile Has a Story: An Inspiring Marathon Film by Scarecrow M&C Saatchi with Mumbai Police

Scarecrow M&C Saatchi has created an inspiring digital film with the police force for Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII), encouraging citizens to embrace fitness through the Navi Mumbai Half Marathon.

As the sponsor of the Future Generali 10K Run at the Navi Mumbai Half Marathon on February 17, FGII has taken a unique step by sponsoring 75 policemen and women to participate in the marathon. The initiative stems from the brand’s belief in complete protection not just through insurance, but by promoting healthier lifestyles and community wellbeing.

The film captures a simple but striking idea: police are always on the run, chasing leads, responding to emergencies, and safeguarding lives. This time, they run for themselves, showing that staying fit is essential to better protecting the community and inspiring citizens to do the same.

Shreeraj Deshpande, Principal Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, FGII, said the company remains committed to encouraging healthier lifestyles through initiatives like the marathon and its health insurance offerings. He added that having 75 policemen join the Future Generali 10K Run strengthens the larger mission of motivating people across age groups to take up running.

Kapil Tammal, Executive Creative Director and Creative Head, Scarecrow Communications, described the project as both challenging and rewarding, balancing the toughness of the police force with the pride and emotion they carry while serving the city.

Mustafa Kapasi, Senior Creative Director, added that the idea was to create a deeply emotional film while avoiding clichés and presenting a side of the police force that is rarely seen.
