SCARECROW COMPLETES A MONTH-LONG SHOOT FOR NCSM.

The National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, oversees 26 Science Centres across India. Recently, NCSM entrusted Scarecrow with the task of creating a comprehensive film showcasing many of these science centres. The ambitious project involved a month-long shoot, which was meticulously planned to capture the essence of these institutions.

The film highlights the seven premier National Level Centres, including Science City, Kolkata; Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata; Central Research and Training Laboratory, Kolkata; Nehru Science Centre (NSC), Mumbai; Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru; National Science Centre (NSC), Delhi; and NSC Guwahati. In addition, the team covered NCSM’s regional centres in Rajahmundry, Almora, and Kurukshetra.

The dedicated efforts of the Scarecrow team resulted in the successful completion of the extensive shoot. Following this, Scarecrow’s in-house production team worked efficiently to deliver the first cut of the film within just five days. The final product promises to offer an engaging and insightful look into NCSM’s significant contributions to science in India. The film is set for its much-anticipated launch this month, marking a new milestone for NCSM. And, of course, Scarecrow.
